nobody in hip hop has ever had a persona like eazy-e did
he didn't write rhymes but eazy had the best writers in the game with cube, ren and the d.o.c.
then with dr. dre who was the best producer in the game at the time, no way this album could fail
classic shyt :banderas:
they don't make em' like this no mo:whew:

the album cover is iconic, i need to see if i can find a poster of this

Classic!

I remember when I had that same preset beat from the song "Eazy Duz It" on my cheap ass little Casio keyboard! The part when he talks about being in jail calling his bytch to get him out is a beat straight from from a little ass gold colored Casio! I flipped out as a kid when I heard it on my keyboard and played it for all my friends lol I checked Who Sampled to see if that keyboard got any credit and nope Dr Dre got away with that one.

I used to be a stan:salute:

"He once was a thug from around the way.
Eazy, but you should"

"bytch, Shut the fukk up.Get the fukk out of here.
Yo Dre give me a funky ass bass line."

i got this on right now
it's crazy how clean the production still sounds
they mixed this album right

that’s Dre for you. I copped this on vinyl recently and shyt sounds clean. Worth it for the Dre production alone but Eazy E was such a character and such a legend. One of the dopest voices too imo

Yeah. His production work has always been really clean in sound.

I've been bumping this on a humbug for the past couple of days

Straight outta Compton gets all the props, but this is a better album musically. It's more cohesive and the lyrics are raw.

I feel like the two NWA albums felt too much like shock value. This album is shock value also, but it feels a little bit more authentic
