My problem with Ebro on this is that he seems like a hypocrite. I have heard him defend playing Trinidad James which to me is the black equivalent to Riff Raff but because he doesn't know if Riff Raff grew up with money or privileged he questions if he is authentic? I didn't hear him asking if Trinidad James grew up with money or lived in a nice area, he seemed to just give him a pass and hot 97 played the record because it was a big record

i actually know riff raff pretty well. i have done several photo shoots with him. there is nothing about riff that is "fraud". the breh is a cool, funny dude that has ALLLLLL the hoes. dude got broads on DECK for real. always have. he's just trying to carve a lane, get some bread, and have fun. there is no riff raff "character". what you see is how he is ALL the time. he can't turn it off because he's not faking. i say let dude cook. i'm not necessarily a fan of his music, but his videos are status. i'm glad he's out here eating now. i remember when i first met him. he was living in the Mint Apartments in Alief (those from houston, know what i'm talking about) driving an OLD raggedy ass green jaguar s-type with a screw driver in the driver window to keep it up. while i was there, his roomate was fukking a crack head riff had "texas tornado" posters all over his livingroom wall.

Good interview. It's cool to see rappers get grilled in an interview cause its rare for them to have people coming at them like that. Need to see Ebros demeaner around someone that is willing to be just as aggressive.
