Nah,he has the old grumpy grandpa pass I think at this point. He's done himself a service by playing characters that seem to somewhat represent who he really is. His character on Married With Children and Modern Family are exactly who you would think would say something like this
. I cracked up when he was trying to hold back laughter about her in the tuxedos. As well as the part about her transforming into a more aggressive butch who wanted to challenge him as time went on in the series. Sounds like he likes her and doesn't have any ill will,she should respect the fact he didn't push that button,because I would have if anybody on my show was annoying and talking like a big shot to me.
