From madden 2007-2010 it reached the point that my brother refused to play me if i used the ravens because i'd get so many picks and force so many fumbles that he would rage quit by halftime. Aside from Chris McCallister, I'll let you guess who got most of my picks

A shame that Reed and Lewis' prime years were wasted with awful QB and WR play. If the Ravens even had an AVERAGE passing game during those years they would have made multiple SB appearances

That's the season that really stamped the ravens into my head as my team. Gave up less than 1,000 yards on the ground, led the league in pass defense and picks, had 63 sacks on he year. Even Bart Scott got 9.5
Beat the chargers in the final minute at home. Gave up a little over 12 points a game, pitched 3 shutouts and scott nearly killed ben in one of them. I would've bet a fortune we were going to stomp through the playoff on the way to a title. I think that was the best ravens team we've ever had. They'd smoke the 2000 and 2008 teams, they'd beat the 2011 team, and they'd clobber the 2012 team too. Such a lost opportunity that McNair and Mason never got to win a title in purple.

I was pissed. McNair threw that pick on 1st and goal and then they went for it on 4th and inches later and threw the ball. All they had to do both times was hand off to Jamal Lewis and let him fall forward. They would've won the game easily

Reed is the GOAT at his spot and was dynamic for over a decade. It may be a while before we see a safety dominate like he did. The man was special and deserves all the accolades he gets in the media and on the streets.

You held your breath every time your QB attempted a pass of more than 15 yards if he was on the field, cuz he had better ball skills and hands than half of your receivers.
