I wouldn't go as far as calling him a smart dumb dude but he's made a couple of smart dumb statements in the past. Like mistaking Picasso for Van Gogh when talking about how Van Gogh cut his own ear off.
He also said that Buhddists smoke opium as part of their religion, which far as I know is inaccurate. But he's usually on point. Also saying China owns 80% of America's debt, that's an overstatement. Its much less than that but they do own a lot of America's debt.
So, he's usually on point but I've heard him make a couple of
statements in the past.
