Again, a pointless post from you.But people have no problem praying to it. I'm out. Take care.
People believe in their hindu gods. Does that mean THOSE exist?
This is why its so easy to insult you.
Again, a pointless post from you.But people have no problem praying to it. I'm out. Take care.
I don't know WHAT you're talking about.
ATL is BOOMING right now.
The construction is back after the recession and black wealth is making a massive resurgence.
What are your credentials fan?
Ha bruh?? You sure about that? I'm from Atlanta, born and raised, I'm NW Atlanta the long way. Grew up right down the street from Techwood and Clark Howell Homes. I remember when APD wouldn't even drive down North Ave without backup because the boys in Techwood used to play target practice with their squad cars. I'm an old school Atlanta nikka, I've seen Atlanta get better in the mid 90's and now I am seeing it get worse to back how it used to be.
And to your construction comment my boy I used to work for the city of Atlanta in the Procurement and Contract Compliance Dept, matter of fact Kasim Reed brother Tracy was my boss, and part of my job was to deal with building permits for new construction. And even though I no longer work for COA and am self employed now a part of my business is seeking out projects that are up for bid within the city. So guess what? I know the people who still work down there in the permits office and they are not issuing permits like that homie, no where near to what it even was before 2008, and damn sure aint "booming" as you call it. Not even close. And how can the construction industry be booming when Atlanta was just named #1 AGAIN in the country for foreclosures? The only parts of town where there is any new construction is West Midtown,Buckhead and the 4th Ward part of Midtown. nikka you aint seeing new construction anywhere homie besides those areas and even still it aint what it was back in the 90's when you would see cranes everywhere in the sky all over the city.
And my credentials mean diddley squat homeboy, I'm a hustler, Ive made money from LA to DC, so money is not the issue at all when it comes to me wanting to move. I can make money anywhere. The issue is I see my city going down hill bruh and I dont want to raise a family here. Bruh I have been to 3 funerals already this year for nikkas I grew up with who got murked. I hadnt been to a funeral for one of my patnas getting killed in damn near 10 years and Ive been to 3 already this year. Literally just in the last 5 months. My best friend just got shot 3 times in the chest in his own fukking driveway not even a month ago, he lived but that shyt was the icing on the cake. This nikka stays in Collier Heights right across the street from Ralph Abernathy and right around the corner from HJ Russell, so it wasn't like he was hanging on the corner of Simpson and Brawley when it happened. He a little older than me and his step son who is just fukking 14 went up to Douglas High on the last day of class this year and beat up somebody he had beef with. The nikka he beat up went and got his crew and went looking for my nephew and when they couldn't find him these young nikkas just shot his Dad when he was getting out his car carrying grocery bags in the house. This nikka son aint even in HS yet, he just finished JC Young Middle and is about to start at Mays in the fall. And that is why I say this city is gonna be a hell hole in 10 years. These young nikkas in the city are a totally different breed they are a product of Atlanta being a melting pot of Black people for the last 3 decades and this rap music bullshyt. They aint like how we was, my generation was basically still country. These new nikkas on some down south/up north hybrid shyt and they going out they wat to make a name for themselves. You think Atlanta is booming? My boy you need to open you eyes. Real shyt

So your hood shyt is why ATL is falling off to you?\
Gentification is happening. More jobs and opportunities are moving to the city, and more is being invested in infrastructure.
Don't be ridiculous.
Bruh you sound like a nikka who is either not from here or just doesn't have a clue to what is really going on.
Because people are moving back into cities. My boy you really just said the construction industry is booming in Atlanta and I literally just read just the other day that we are #1 for foreclosures in the US again, for the 4th time since 2008. New construction doesn't pop off until the existing inventory of vacant shyt gets snatched up.
Thats not true.Yeah the prices are going back up in some parts of town, but most of the black areas are still staying the same and overall they still aint back to what it was 10 years ago.
its a start because the surrounding area is too racist to commit to something that would bring ATL to DC standardsnd the investment in infrastructure has been into stupid shyt like bike trails and an electric trolley that wont even really help traffic at all.
its an attraction and a beautification project that increases the value of the area.Last time I checked MARTA was still some bullshyt and our traffic is still horrible, how the fukk is a beltline for white people to ride bikes all day and a corny ass trolley gonna really help with traffic? We already have a fukking subway and if they were really serious about improving the infrastructure they would be building more stations and adding more buses and routes.
Do you have a degree? And what jobs and opportunities are you referring to bruh? Aint nobody hiring out here like that. That's why so many nikkas in the city have been going the entrepreneurial route the last 10 years, cuz nikkas aint finding jobs like they used to. Georgia still has one of the highest levels of unemployment in the country, the only industry growing here is the movie business. Everything else staying stagnant. But people are still moving here. And where are those folks gonna work?
Theres a lot of black money supporting gentrification as we'llAnd gentrification has benefited blacks in Atlanta how exactly?
They tore all the projects down and all they accomplished was making Clayton County into a ghetto suburb. Not just that but what did they do with the areas where those projects once stood? Nothing bruh. They tore Perry Homes down my Jr. year in HS and that shyt is still a vacant lot basically, and I graduated HS in '02 bruh and that same demo is repeated all over the city. If they didn't leave it vacant they just threw up some cheap shyt that was decent for a couple of years but is already back to getting fukked up.
I love my city nikka, and wherever I move tho Ima still rep this hard as fukk, but Im just keeping 100.
I'm born and raised here too, you're a couple of years older than me( based on your high school graduation year) your perspective is interesting. I think Georgia as a whole is getting better, I'm always hearing of new jobs moving here, maybe not directly in the city of Atlanta, but they are coming To other parts of the metro area, I dunno breh, maybe you have some insight, but I just don't see it becoming as bad as you are saying. I agree, these young niccas are out here crazy right now, with no direction, but I think the city is continuing to grow and move in the right direction, slowly but surely.Bruh you sound like a nikka who is either not from here or just doesn't have a clue to what is really going on. Man just because some crime touched you personally doesnt mean the whole city is going downhill.
Kids all over the country are becoming more violent than they were when we were young. Your ass gonna run to raise your kids in a new city and you gonna see the same shyt.
Aint running from nothing patna, Ive gotten money on both sides of the fence, aint shyt I havent seen already bruh. Im just on some different shyt now. I just dont want to raise children in this city. A nikka aint even got kids yet but Im the type of nikka that likes to think and plan ahead. And its not just crime, the overall attitude in Atlanta really has more to do with it than anything. Every 3rd nikka here wanna be a rapper. Every other nikka here got some bullshyt ass Wake Up Now type shyt he tryin to ram down your throat. Every other bytch wanna be a model or on the next reality show. And allot of both broads and dudes out here running tax fraud and bank scams. And its not just hood nikkas, my homie just got 8 Fed and he graduated from Morehouse with Finance degree. This shyt has gotten all fake, plastic and materialistic. And to be honest I don't want to bring up kids in that type of environment.

*sidenote* you have some connections to city hall. I'm looking to get into city government soon...might want to get at you![]()
Yeah...but you run with nikkas who aren't about shyt.Aint running from nothing patna, Ive gotten money on both sides of the fence, aint shyt I havent seen already bruh. I appreciate you taking the time and giving your viewpoint. It is not up to me to give you the evidence as to why I'm a Christian (I have given reasons in a thread in free speech) so you can determine based on why I believe so you can make a decision to reevaluate your beliefs. If you want to believe cool and if not cool. Believing is a personal choice everyone makes and no one can force you to believe in something you don't want to.
If I get a chance I will link to the thread giving my personal reasons as to why I believe.
I'm from the A and visit frequently.
Because people are moving back into cities.
And don't confuse commercial growth with residential
Thats not true.
And i'm not talking about "black areas"...gentification is straight flipping neighborhoods.
A its a start because the surrounding area is too racist to commit to something that would bring ATL to DC standards

Do you have a degree?
I don't know anyone unemployed in the A.
You said you get around by "hustling" though so do you.
Theres a lot of black money supporting gentrification as we'll
Poor people getting displaced is a sign ATL is falling off?
You and I are clearly from different walks of life.
Now is the time to move to ATL if you have your ducks in a row.
And im here to tell you its the same shyt in other cities. Right now my ass is all the way up in Delaware and i kid you not there were dudes trying to sell me mixtapes at the gas station.
What major city you moving to that you arent gonna see exactly what you trying to leave behind?
You most certainly can believe in something you don't want to.
If a loved one dies, you believe they are dead. You may not want to believe it, but you do. If a toothache is killing you, you believe you are in pain. Knowledge and belief should really go hand in hand.
Reality has altered what people believe, as well it should. And you don't have to like something to believe it.
I mean, come on, who really LIKES existential nihilism? You may believe it, you may argue for it...but that doesn't mean you LIKE or WANT it. It's just the way it is.
