Dude is overlooked
Facts, crazy he barely gets mentioned as one of our great actors

With OGS Poitier, Belafonte and others gone. He’s damn near one of the few who started out in 50s who’s still out here. Damn shame he’s overlooked to the capacity he is

And he never played a chump in any movie I seen him in.
Always had respect for him.

Never watched it, been meaning to because I heard good things about it.
I just knew Regina King was in it.
lou gossett plays a black superhero who gets fukked in the ass by a white man. regina king’s husband is docile and slightly effeminate, while she wears the pants in the family. the show had a clear agenda with regards to its representation of black men.

the only entertaining aspect was jeremy irons’s character, but he had very few scenes. i didn’t even finish it, stopping at the penultimate episode.
