He was lucky/talented enough to be comedic and charamasmatic to to be implimented in leading roles that needed just that. Kinda like a late 80's action movie needing an Arnold or a Stalone, he just fit the part. Then he got enough bread/influence to start making his own flicks where he wrote/had shyt written for him and it's been a wrap ever since. Even though alot of his 'family friendly' shyt flopped or didn't do as well, Eddie has the type of brand where his performance will never HURT your shyt and you could only gain from it, depending on the script and premise.

Eddie's whole life has been GOAT status except for those strings of box office bombs and the tranny incident. I mean this nikka was killing the comedy clubs at 15 years old, SNL at 18, multimillionaire by 19 and legend by 22. Never had to audition for a single role.

I would hate for anybody to look at his life at some sort of blueprint cuz its a once in a lifetime career.

My HC in college told us he never had to fill out a job application either. He said people always noticed him because of his work and would offer jobs from there, all the way up to HC.
Yea this is exactly like Eddie Murphy being a movie star.
