Pryors honesty is one of the things that made him such a great Stand Up comedian.

Get off Eddie and secondly Eddie’s two specials are more memorable than most people’s body of work. Him not doing much stand-up isn’t about lack of ability. The cost-benefit isn’t there for him and probably doesn’t love it as much as some comedians. Comedic stars of his stature outside of Kevin Hart do stand up when money slows up.

It's not crabs and being bitter. Stand up comedy is a art itself. He's right, Eddie got big and walked away from the standup comedy game before 30. That's not a diss, it's the truth. To me Eddie will be a legend for his influence but I've always looked at him as a lesser comedian than Rock and Chappelle. Not lesser in terms of funny but lesser in heart. He got decadent and dipped.

shyt even Martin's ass came back to prove to his fans he lost his funny after the 90s. You will never see Eddie on stage again unless money troubles.
