I think he's a good actor, but something about his body of work and pandering during the Oscars campaign comes across as desperate/needy.

Like Michael Keaton wasn't.

Only person I feel bad for is Steve Carrell, what the fukk is wrong with him? He has been nominated for awards (Emmys, Golden Globes etc) so many times, that you would think he learn how to play the game by now.
