In Atlanta we get an extra hour of sunlight. When I lived in DC, it would get dark at 4:45pm around this time of year. Catching the Metro at 5pm in darkness was soooo depressing. I’d lose all motivation to do anything after work. Working out, happy hours, meeting up with friends. Holidays are the only things that make this time of year bearable.
