Are PRs, from Chicago or Orlando viewed in the same light?

It starts with most Nuyoricans not being born on the island. Most nuyoricans don't speak spanish well - with way too much slang or not at all and island PR's feel they represent PR's poorly and see it as disrespect. Yet Nuyoricans are very brash with their pride in the culture while not actually being part of it. Nuyoricans hang big PR flags from their rearview mirrors, constantly use their PR & NYness as currency and bring up their culture at every opportunity but again cannot speak the language and know nothing about the culture and Nuyoricans are viewed as entitled.

I was born in PR but raised in NY so I don't have any the hangups and get the pass.

Lastly it's just ignorance.
