That defeats the point of doing schoolwork. My goal is to wean off study aids and study more without it. Education, by which I mean consistent and focused study, improves all of life's outcomes by getting students into the bait of thinking deeply and rigorously on topics. Education also allows Black men to attain credentials, which matter in this age of higher income and high quality life, both of which come from an accumulation of credentials: Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, Law degree (JD), Medical degree (MD), MBA (Master's of Business), etc. Black men with PhDs and advanced degrees, regardless of subject, make copious amounts of money. They also sip tea, dress in suits, wear cashmere scarfs, etc.

Swim used to take Ritalin though and enjoyed the euphoria for about 3 years. May have experienced liver issues from abusing them.

Neither Adderall nor Ritalin make me aggressive or euphoric. You're overdosing for recreation, which is against what is advised. Ritalin is meant as a way to combat ADHD symptoms, not to be used as a party drug. You're the reason drugs that can help decent people like me are banned.

I don't think I really do, but I managed to convince a psychiatrist I have ADHD so I could get Vyvanse and Adderall perscriptions. I'm conflicted on whether I should try to get xanax for my anxiety issues. I have severe anxiety. Xanax, however, is extremely addictive. I quit it cold turkey about 6 months ago after increasing dose, but I could see addiction setting in regardless. Switching drugs and stopping for 2-4 weeks at a time seems to work best to avoid addiction. I also don't take any drug "for fun", including cigarettes. One of the ways to never get addicted is to NEVER try recreational drugs, including tobacco.

Look into hydoxizine. They give it to you in the hospital to help with anxiety attacks, and you can take it as needed without the negative effects of xanax. It has helped me. I'll also say that my anxiety isn't severe, so take this advice for what it's worth.
