So, I've been sonning my lil bro on games FOR YEARSSSSSSSSSSS, sometimes I lose, sometimes i let him win, he's 12 now, I'm much much older. So when we have the time to game together, I like him to have a good time.
Problem is, when he wins, he likes to start shytting on me and feeling himself a lil bit too much :patrice: so I son him to smitherins :ohlawd: like it ain't even fair, I've been gaming for close to two decades now.
What to do? I hate to see youngin sad and furious :sadcam:

My son is like that. He's 11, and when he wins (i let him win mostly) he talks so much shyt about "Owww Dad I Owned you" and blah blah blah but if i win or anyone else wins it's the end of the world and he's on the brink of tears. Sometimes I have to punish him with a brutal beating in the game when he gets too fly at the lip. I think it's due to the nature of gaming today. Back in the 80's games were hard as fukk, almost always lost but when you finally beat the game it felt like an accomplishment. Nowadays, as long as you keep pressing the button at the appropriate time you'll eventually win. So kids expect to win because thats all they do, no experience with losing is detrimental because that is the only way you learn. Nobody learns anything from winning.

Let me tell you this story real quick, My cousin was playing our lil nephew, 9 years old, in NBA 2K trying not to beat him too bad and let him keep some self esteem until his mom came in and said he needed to learn how to take a loss then the game got ugly real quick. Point being we all realized at that point she was right at some point in life shyt is not going to go your way and you have to learn how to deal with it so you do these kids no favors letting them win. It may seem mean but they gotta learn sometime.

What an odd time to choose to teach her son that lesson.

Anyway, I was the older brother to a little button mashing cheater. He loved fighting and racing games and those weren't really for me.

I can't really remember any significant losses I took to him but I know I've been mad at him while playing and I let him win a couple times. I haven't played him in a video game in like over 5 years now. I wonder what it'd be like since we both moved on to other things.
