exposed?

You fukking idiot.
I ALREADY said ON THE FIRST PAGE, we can talk about his domestic shyt but I DO NOT nor will I EVER excuse his revelation of foreign intelligence matters.
foreign intelligence affects domestic. if the cia is going around the world doing stupid sh1t starting up wars we need to know.
we need wikileaks and snowdens to let us know who is abusing powers because powers are being abused.
we need to know everything.
the spying will go on regardless and there's nothing foreign countries can do about it.

How can you betray your country (the people) when you're telling them things are being done behind there backs?

If he's a traitor he's a traitor against our government but a hero to its people.

Chances are he'll end up dead.
people have to realize at the end of the day you need loyalty. He let me know i was potentially being spied on if i was involving myself in some shady things. That's something i already knew. If this was a hypothetical battle, where it's us, vs the NSA spies, and snowden crosses the frontline with this data, he still gets thrown in a prison, he's disloyal. He disobeyed his leaders and the people who employed him you think i'll trust him? I dont' give a shyt how much he told me and how many secrets he told me, he has proven he's a turncoat and will disobey you because of his own personal feelings.

If he was a real hero we would never hear about ed snowden, we'd see his pasty face 50 years from now behind the scenes as the head of the NSA making his feelings about security become a reality by infiltrating the institution he thought was so bad and changing it. Instead he blew the whistle, divided the population blew any chance of his ideas actually coming to reality in that institution, made the NSA etc. just find better ways to hide their fukkery etc. He also ran to a country that would have raped him with a household object had he done the same to them.

employees are protected by whistleblower laws to protect them from employers who want them to break the law.

rather, they should be protected. an employer can't or shouldn't figure you for insubordination for refusing to break the law.

This makes NO goddamn sense.

Nope. if the cia is going around the world doing stupid sh1t starting up wars we need to know.
I disagree.

If your country doesn't have its shyt together and makes it easier for outsiders to shake your shyt up, thats YOUR fault.

we need wikileaks and snowdens to let us know who is abusing powers because powers are being abused.
sure...but to what end? I'm an American and if it HURTS american interests to some extent you must put a clamp on that.

Every low level private in the army doesn't need that battery in his/her back to think they have the authority to drop shyt on the global stage like that.
we need to know everything.
Nope.
the spying will go on regardless and there's nothing foreign countries can do about it.
So why are you OK with Snowden revealing US efforts abroad but he won't say shyt about China or Russia? :stopitslime:

Stop acting like we're all equal out here. We ain't.

I'm not going for that global government shyt, so as long as thats the case, I need the USA to maintain all strategic leverage it can at all times.
i got you where i want you...

Thats not "whistle-blowing" cause NOT EVERYTHING YOU LEAK is "whistle-blowing"

Ya'll got the laws fukked up out here.

Government employees are held to a different standard. You can't just drop some shyt off wikipedia without even READING the goddamn thing.

i'm with @Kritic on this one. We have whistle blowing protection for a reason. Our military also has the ability to disobey orders when they are illegal, is it any wonder our government has outsourced this type of shyt to companies who don't have that same forgiving/protective attitude about doing what's right?

On man's traitor is another mans hero.

Snowden did the right thing for the american people and freedom in general, I can't fault him for wanting to bring some light into a shadowy world.

one man's traitor isn't another man's hero, human life isn't a fairy tale or a movie. Almost any grown man with principles is going to look at snowden as a weirdo and just be like, thanks for helping me win, thanks for the heads up, now get the fuk away from me before you backstab somebody else over your personal feelings.

Nothing gets changed by bytching from the outside, especially the government or a big institution. That works if you got ketchup on your burger and you didn't want it, you can bytch and probably get another hamburger, to change how the NSA does it's work will not happen by bytching from the outside. If he really cared deeply about changing the institution of the Nation Security Agency and influencing people to take a different path on surveillance he would have kept at it and worked himself into a position of influence possibly even a top position running the show in maybe 20-30 years. People on the left are going about it all backwards, while they are yelling on the street the dude on the right keeping his mouth shut waiting for that opportunity to be able to change things his way, people on the right have patience and an actual solid goal that the left doesn't have.

:heh:
world politics doesn't revolve around the united states of america.
a superpower shouldn't to police the world at the expense of it's citizens. we've got problems here that need fixing. we don't need to fight a fake war of terror and blame it on outsiders.

you just recently posted thread on state funded terror. we knew about that in bush's years.

exactly.

this dikk basically Kim Philby'd himself.

If he had kept it STRICTLY domestic, i'd be cool

But NO. He takes it to the next level and starts dropping international secrets.

NO. BUENO.

even domestically, if it's that horrible stay in your seat and get it changed. What the fukk can you possibly do unemployed in Russia when you want United States domestic spying policy to be changed? You think telling the citizens who don't work in the government is going to change something? He started to go into that "well next time they vote they will know this and that" nobody give a shyt about that you simpleton, people want good jobs, healthcare cheap goods etc, if it's a toss up between getting my email read and having a good job i'll pick the good job and correspond face to face.

the problem with snowden is that he took it too far.

I get what he aimed to do, but I'm not OK with low level dudes thinking its OK to just go on a limb and start leaking shyt ot the rest of the world as if people ain't out here trying to use that shyt against us.

I'm not saying there are secret foreign ninjas coming to rape you at night, but what I am saying is that this country is built on a degree of legitimacy and leverage that isn't ot be taken lightly.

why not? Who said it was at American's expense?
the fake war on terror which is an international operation put the nail in the coffin on the country's economy. spending billions of dollars a day in iraq based on a lie for private corporations gain. we regular citizens don't gain anything out of those wars.
the economy's now shot beyond repair because of fake international affairs. should've listened to ron paul to stay out of the middle east.

this is the information age. if they need to know everything about us then we need to know what they know.
we need to know about benghazi. we need to know more about operation fast and furious. all those international operations affect us all. i don't give a fuq about the military complexor a goddamn superpower/world police status.
