:ehh: I'm actually surprised at how good this Kendrick album is

Completely agree, Kendrick is plain trash for me. Can't understand how so many people call this wannabe smart & artsy bullshyt good music. Usually I can't even make it past a minute of his songs, its just the fact that his songs are horrible to listen to with all these aspects so many people seem to celebrate like its the peak of innovation or something. No, his awkward pronouncing of words, his wack flow, voice & speed changes throughout a song and thousands of fukkin interludes and dozens of people talking in the middle of his songs is not dope, but just a chore to listen to for me.

It's a very well written album, excuted the concepts and themes he wanted, but musically it was lacking to me, too many beat changes ruined the entire flow of the album for me, Tetsuo & Youth was better.

Personally I believe section 80 his best lyrical project and gkmc his best conceptual album. ..i could replay those 2 albums millions of times and enjoy...tpab is too jarring with the weird voices the forced narratives and that whole tupac shyt was just corny ...That being said Kendrick is still by far the most talented rapper of this generation.
