I did ignore it. That's why I waited nearly a year to listen to the album. I had a sneaking suspicion it would be trash based on the hyperbole and what was released, but I said: "I'll give it some time. If it's the instant classic Interscope media says it is, surely it'll hold up for at least a year And I'll be blown away then."

I did what a hip hop fan is supposed to do. Instead of dikkriding the moment, give the album time to percolate. And you're chastising me for it?

no one is forcing those garbage albums down my throat. Everywhere I go on The Coli or in interviews, paid posters and radio DJs are forcing Kendrick Lamar questions on their guests. Many of them arrogantly stating (directly or indirectly) that anyone who doesn't fukk with Kendrick doesn't know hip hop, isn't Black, is a c00n, etc. The arrogance and sheer disrespect gets annoying. So, as a hip hop fan, I have to confirm the hype once and for all.

I hate reading through Sirbiatch's threads, not because I believe he's a garbage poster, but because he sticks talking about the music and stans of whatever rapper he's ripping to shreds catch feelings and wanna talk about him instead.

I feel you breh. I expect these things from insecure posters. They can't derail discussion no matter how hard they try

To be honest I think he executed the album perfectly and that it was 2nd only behind Tetsuo and Youth. I think it would become a classic because of its timing, message and how reviewers ate it up. I still think Section 80 is his best album. I honestly fell asleep listening to this album twice when i first tried listening to ut no lie. But later down the line I liked it a lot.

nikkas lookin funny in the light complaining about K-dots voice manipulation/pitch changing style when that's a staple of funk recording ala Sir Nose Devoid of Funk with Parliament, plus a lot of the goat 90's nikkas experimented with bugged out vocals. Some of the dopest nikkas do that shyt like Madlib (Quasimoto) I could go on and on...

the shyt aint as annoying as people frontin that it is- they just nitpicking cause the nikka delivered an amazing album musically and actually got shine with lyrics

It's one of those albums where it's good music but the words are powerful too
