Eid Al Fitr is after Ramadan which was in July

Eid Al Adha is two months later during the Hajj season. The pilgrims will be finishing up in the next couple days. Those who can't go to Hajj are normally fasting during the first 10 days of this month (Dhul Hijjah) especially yesterday which was the Day of Arafah.

Eid Al Adha is the Eid of sacrifice. It pays homage to prophet Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son if you know that story.
