EJ Manuel, Ponder, Gabbert, Locker...the list goes on. I have no idea how any of these guys were taken in the first round. How does one qualify to be a NFL scout these days anyways?

thats what i dont get. why is it a good thing for ej to sit back and learn? but when people talk about geno smith. its you cant bench geno. it might hurt his confidence. hell man id rather be benched for mike vick than kyle orton.

EJ wasn't worthy of a starting job in the NFL. He chokes under pressure, and its been that way since Florida State.

So first round QBs don't even get 16 games anymore? And somehow Christian Ponder got the three seasons as a starter with the same QB rating as EJ. Not here to defend EJ but whats the point of drafting a QB in the first or second round if you don't want to give them time (more than 16 games).
