You're 2-2 with a young QB. Let him ride out the season and learn. If Kyle doesn't do well you throw EJ back in and you look like a fool. Let him play a whole season and reevaluate at draft time. Orton isn't the long term answer and it's not like you're Super Bowl bound.

I think the evaluation process is easier and shorter (i.e. usually about 2 seasons) when you equip a QB with weapons because then there are fewer acceptable reasons for failure (perhaps every team with a rookie QB should try to get them weapons so as to make the evaluation process shorter). The likes of EJ and Tannehill have proven they aren't franchise QBs by doing too little with what they've been given. Geno, on the other hand, has one of the worst receiving corps in the league. The Jets have invested 6 of their past first round picks into the defence.
