LOL @ thinking the government cut a deal, dude will spend the next 45 years in prison, turn old and die. The forfeiture is just an accounting his crimes from a financial perspective. The government will never see that money. It's just a part of the sentencing process. I guess I understand why people think those forfeitures are actual money, but many times, esp. in these cases, they aren't. It's just an estimation of his money stream over his entire career.
I was unimpressed with his last words, after the excitement and ride of the trial, he realizes it's really all over, I expected him to take it more stoically and in stride, but he kind of broke down, and basically said it wasn't fair.
