You accept the petition for asylum, do an initial screening and interview, take their prints and all that, and schedule them a court date. And if they don't show up, their petition gets denied and they become an illegal immigrant subject to deportation.
So the MAGA set and their sympathizers will say, "That doesn't work fool, those black and brown people don't show up for no court dates!"
Hmmm, let's evaluate that. Before Trump started hating on refugees, what % do you think were showing up for their court dates?
Just 20%? 50%?

93% of asylum seekers who were released to their own recognizance came back for their court date which would determine asylum or deportation. There wasn't a serious problem with people not showing back up. Only 1 in 14 asylum seekers failed to return. And many of those who didn't return ended up getting deported.
Even now, with all the hate Trump projects and all the people getting denied in court? In 2017, with Trump in power hating on immigrants but before he started the "zero tolerance" policy, they still had 89% of asylum seekers show up for their court dates that year.
There is no problem.
In fact, the % of asylum seekers who skip out of court (7%) was virtually the same as the % of Americans who skip bail (8%). So what, you want to eliminate the bail system too? But our country doesn't have close to the jail facilities to house them, and those people skipping are actual criminals, not just Trump's hypothetical criminals. So you want to stash everyone who gets arrested into razor-wire cages under bridges too?

Majority of white "democrats" are moderates that lean to the right because the Republicans support issues that benefit white people.

It only takes a short amount of time to process people, that would be logistically simple if not for all the draconian things Trump has been doing to hold people for extra time. There aren't so many asylum seekers coming over in the course of a single day that you "have" to put them up under a bridge surrounded by razor wire.

You process them and give them a hearing date. Then you release them. There are plenty of charities who would be willing to help them figure things out for a little bit.
if you really feel that you HAVE to take 2-3 days to process them instead of one, then build enough humane facilities to house a hundred or so refugees at each major crossing. It's not an insane expense.
Like I said, $3.4 million every weekend Trump flies to Mar a Lago to play golf, but we pretend it's impossible for us to house a couple hundred people humanely.
