My favorite was E33 easily, just my type of game in every way. That's why I voted for it.

But "objectively", Elden Ring was a phenomenon for a long ass while and BG3 did something with its freedom that wont be reached in who knows how long.

Perhaps I need to approach bg3 from a diff perspective...

Is there anyway to make the combat/gameplay less ass? mods, builds, etc I'm open to anything lol. I've had this game since EA and only put 40 hours in

I'm also no the biggest fan of the gameplay/combat style from BG3 but there's tons of way to approach a fight that can make it more fun for you. But if your issue is turn-based combat and click for movement, I don't think you are gonna get anything "better" than what it already is.

I don't mind turn based combat generally but this game is so fukking tedious and its not "hard" its just DnD where trolololol you missed and thats your whole turn, to make shyt harder than it is. plus its all so slow.

I think I'm just cooked then lol

As far as actual RPG’s go Divinity and BG3 have my favorite combat systems, just for the fact that there’s like 100’s of ways to deal with an encounter. If you’re good enough you can win entire battles with just one character sneaking around and setting shyt off, laying traps, stealthing, flying aaround, sniping, etc.

Its the only system that allows real role playing other than just shooting and stabbing nikkas as quickly as possible.

I saw someone use Karlach turned her giant and throw an entire boss out the arena into a pit.

BG3

It’s replayability is ridiculous & is honestly how a RPG’s should be & is very welcoming to new players of this type of genre

Elden Ring for as good as it may have been it’s still in a niche genre of Souls-like imo

E33 being more welcoming then Elden Ring & just as story rich as BG3

If I’m being honest BG3 takes it :manny:

Taking everything into account, ill give a very slight nod to BG3, ahead of Elden Ring
