If you take it to the corner of the evergoal by the rocks you can kinda trap it, and it will slow it's movements way down. I used my r2 attack and kept stunning it.

it's a gimmick boss there should be a special weapon on your left when you enter the arena.

How did you beat The Elden Beast? Having to fight two bosses back to back wears down my Mimic and the Elden Beast is always flying away and shooting Holy projectiles.

I hated that fukking fight the 1st phase was dope though prob one of my fav boss fights but that elden beast is trash. Feels like you should have your horse down there since he stay flying or swimming the fukk away. Really makes the fight drag.
I had to get my Mimic to +10, after that I could reliably get to the Elden Beast with my Mimic having at least half his health left and a decent amount of flasks to work with.
My best strategy was to rush him. After u hit him a couple times in the beginning run behind him to avoid that holy flame shyt and attack him from the back.
I was level 138 when I beat him. I also had a +10 Bloodhound fang as my weapon.

and like @Brief Keef mentioned get something that gives u defense against holy damage. I was using a talisman for that

I found a Holy Defense talisman +2 in that secret Tree area after putting the Elden Beast on hold. I’ll utilize it next time. I came across the female boss that was in the promotional footage and she might be even worse than the Elden Beast. Beat her first phase then she started using rot and I ran out of healing flasks. My mimic and weapons are all maxed out. I only tried to fight her once though

Brother @FloorGeneral gave me some good advice on how to deal with her but I just wasn't good enough to follow through. I gave up and instead focused on the Elden Beast
She's so overrated, it's all about dodging her waterfowl shyt. You have to dodge into the attack then roll backwards at that point.I can't help u with Malenia

Also you wanna use Tiche +10 instead of mimic so that she's not regenerating her health getting easy hits on your mimic
