I will never understand this mentatlity. They act like parenting stops at 18, nahhh it's a lifetime thing homie. We didn't ask to come into this world and get shytted on, they were the ones who decided to have us. I don't care if my kid is 28, as long as they're doing what they need to do and not out here on drugs, knocking hoes up, getting in trouble with the law, then I'll help them out anyway I can.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I cannot take the advice of most 30+ year old black people seriously. Their """""advice""""" is always something obvious like 'stay in school', 'don't do drugs', and 'dont have any babies until you have a job'. My favorite bit of """""advice""""" is 'dont get a credit card, it will ruin your life' as if I'm going to be a complete dumbass and use a credit card to spend money that I don't have or wont have any time soon. Even 30+ old well off suburban black men are on some bullshyt sometimes.

What type of advice have you received from 30 plus year old white people?

Moms and pops told me not to do the stock market cuz I would lose all my money since feb 16 i done made roughly $1600 in profit tho

yep my mom told me that when i first started showing interest in stocks......i randomly brought up on the phone, that i was thinking about doing it. She made a big deal about it...i told her i was gonna do my research of course and plus i wasn't gonna put "all" my money in it, only enough that i can afford to risk losing, test it out and then go from there, i told her that's a risk i'm willing to take to gain reward...but yes, i have heard this same exact thing
like you, i have profited from it as well and am glad i got into it
