Trump could get impeached and still win re-election. He's not like any other President who would have perished in scandal. He survives everything and he has a strangehold over the Republican Party.

They're losing the base. Like me. I got no one else to vote for, but they ain't doing shyt, so I'm not doing shyt either.

The House can impeach a president, as it did with Bill Clinton, but the Senate is the body that
can convict and remove a president.

The Republicans currently have a slim 51-49 majority in the Senate. They are not going to remove Trump
from office.
The Republicans have a 53-47 Senate majority. This ain't 2018 no more.

Yes, your point that the Senate most likely won't convict Trump is true. However, House Democrats must still hold impeachment hearings.

None of this matters, Trump committed crimes and he should be impeached. The process will likely help uncover additional crime.

I don't understand why the Democrats are allowed to decide whether or not to impeach based on their 2020 election goals. Doing what's best for America is not the same as doing what's best for the Democrat 2020 campaign, even though I strongly prefer them to Republicans.

I'm fine with them waiting if the reason is evidence gathering. But if they're trying to time this to boost their 2020 chances....or if they're outright refusing to do it, then that is not OK.

Yeah like you did. :comeon:

His formula is interesting because he doesn’t base it on polls and makes his predictions way early every cycle. Doing that since 1984 and getting it right every time lends him a lot of credibility.

Yall are such contrarians for no reason lol.

Ive gotten every presidential election right since clintons second term. I was 4 in 92. :yeshrug:

Some of y'all are overstating how good this guy is.

In 2000 he predicted that Gore would be the next president. He barely won the popular vote but he lost the election.

In 2016 he predicted that Trump would win the popular vote. He lost the popular vote by a mile and barely won the election.

Also he hedged in 2016. He went back-and-forth predicting Trump, then Clinton, and then claiming that Trump was too unusual a candidate to predict accurately.

1984, 1988, 1996, 2004, 2008, and 2012 were all pretty easy predictions.

So what are y'all really bragging about? He doesn't even have a great track record overall in the close ones.

Senate Republicans refusing to impeach after airing out the massive number of reasons Trump is garbage helps put his stench on them. Pelosi is just an idiot. She's old and demented like he is.

Dems need to force the issue even if she says not to.

He predicted Trump would win in 2016.

Election Forecasting Guru Allan Lichtman Predicts Donald Trump Will Win 2016 Election

Nobody’s 2000 election prediction was totally accurate because that election was basically a tie and there was fukkery afoot in FL. He said Gore would win and he won the popular vote.

Yeah those other elections were easy to pick based on polls, but he picks months before the election and his model isn’t poll-based.

But it's enough to show that he isn't some deep savant on this shyt. He said himself in 2016 that Trump was too unusual a candidate to predict and flip-flopped out there, then in 2017 he's publishing his own pro-impeachment book, and now in 2019 we're supposed to believe that he knows EXACTLY what will happen in November 2020? I don't think he's even predicted the races 18 months out before, his criteria are much closer to the election than that.
