Why am I hearing that most of these EVs have ranges of 250-300 miles?:hhh:

If I travel from Decatur, IL to Columbus, OH, that is about 330 miles. A full tank of gas in a REAL car will get me there without having to stop for gas along the way:win:

You mean to tell me, in an EV, I'm gonna have to stop in Springfield, Ohio to charge up to make it to Columbus?:mjlol:

I get it. EVs are the future, but damn, can we get some that have 500 mile ranges?:dahell:

OP..

I believe that eventually EVs will have 500 mile ranges. One of the main issues I have with EVs is that there isn’t enough charging stations for my liking. Next issue is what you brought up. The max range isn’t long enough for me to feel comfortable. I need @ least 400 miles.

But, there will come a time where EVs will be the standard vehicles. I know that I would defined a charging portal in my garage and I need some tax incentives for owning an EV as well as having access to carpool lanes @ lest until EVs become standard modes of transportation.

How you drive and what you already driving play a part in it too though. If you have a gas guzzler you stopping too.

I can't see myself going back to no gas whip ever again, especially here in cali where gas at high GPA numbers and I get all these breaks for going electric.

If someone can develop a new energy source or some type of battery where you never have to charge that battery they will become a Trillionaire

I think it’s the lower end models but regardless, it will change and i think they’ll even swap your battery sometime in the future.

Also, there are apps that tell you where charging stations are and it don’t take that long to charge.

If I got an electric vehicle it would be the hummer or an electric Jeep Wrangler(it's a hybrid but still). I didn't even know that was a thing until 2 weeks ago I went to the dealership to get some parts put in my car.

To make it to the station I had to drive 55mph the rest of the way. shyt was torture :mjcry:

Eventually they'll come with a mini solar panel so they can charge as you drive but who knows if thats even possible or I'm just talking ridiculous. :yeshrug:
