Respect the good & understand the bad
Is it too late to get a trade? I’m 31 I see this is targeting young brehs

Never too late to get into the trades, breh. Go for it. As long as you got some hustle and a little muscle someone will give you a chance. I'm at six figures now and could lean more into the management side if I wanted to, but I love working with my hands too much.

It's sad that having a regular 9-5 job has somehow become something to be ashamed of in our community. That you're some kind of lame or sucker if you work a job that offers benefits and a retirement plan. :dahell:

I’d rather have a 9-5 job than to be a in prison right now making enough for some Mike and Ikes

A lot of rappers have a short window of time tbh…3-4 years

I’d learn a trade and still rap on the side.

That’s why I respect Sadat X and how he’s not too prideful to get a job after the Brand Nubian checks stopped coming in.

Dude works in the health field
BFB Da Packman was a mail carrier while he was doing shows, I think he left now but he spoke about rappers not having a pension, health insurance, and how he had 401k contributions, it was like a double hustle, using the day job money to make more money while you go on tour.
