I guess they want all the " colored folk" be lgbtqxyz abcdefg and force white women to have kids left hands does one thing the right hand does another still on the same body if you catch what i'm sayingThis has gotten to a point where they are encouraging kids to choose their gender, and treating trans as if it’s a cool trend.

That's what confuses me most. One one hand, you're saying gender is a social construct, and on another you're embracing it on a level more than anyone else. I fear that pushing this onto young kids is only going to take away their innocence, and send them to a lifetime of therapy.My concerns are:
1) Doesn't this just validate old gender stereotypes about boys and girls? That boys are always one way and girls are always another? I thought progressives have been fighting against stereotypes like that
2) I have nothing against trans people. But isn't elementary school to early to be discussing this? What if the girl is simply a tomboy? What if she eventually grows out of it? Hell, there's young boys that will play with girly stuff before growing out of it later on.
Let kids be kids. Let them like what they like.

Never realized how much of an understatement that was.
I fukks with trans folks and everyone in between so I'd have to read the book myself to have any kind of outrage. It might be sensible.
However from that little excerpt, I feel like these types of books may actually enforce gender stereotypes. There's no one way to be trans and identity, sexual or not, is something to be explored.

White people are disgusting. They don't like transgender people, but wanna encourage others (mostly black people) to become transgenders and this is another form of population control.

The fact stands, the studies show that kids with gender dysphoria "Grow out of it" by adulthood. There's zero reason to push this on kids or even expose them to it. And yes, the concept pushes gender stereotypes. If gender is a social construct, then there would be zero need for someone to get physical gender reassignment. I have kids in elementary school and many of the books for that age group coming out are pushing trans issues. You'll never know it's in the book until you are 100 pages in most of the time.

Liking bugs and ties does not mean a girl is now a boy. I have said before that alot of this trans stuff is actually just promoting and reinstating traditional gender roles e.g men do x women do y.
