“Elevated Basics” is now just a corny marketing gimmick

Buying cashmere sweats or Supima cotton T shirts is what “elevated basics” was all about. Spending money on quality loungewear that will hold up and drape better

Now every single brand is putting out the most bland polyester clothes and marketing it as “elevated basics”

You would think you are on to something until you actual buy the fashion nova or rainbow lounge pants thinking its all good and then eventually see each and every one of them split at the seat seams. I'm not that damn thicc

about two, three years late with this thread my boy

you can see the companies that pivoted to that since 2020 starting to move back away from it again
it is what it is... these companies need to meet their margins and its became the cheap and easiest way to do so.

Entireworld had the best sweatpants for the price and some of the best clothes for sitting around the house during the pandemic in general, HAD that pandemic sales boom and still went out of business.

I know I’m late but there’s still fast fashion and small brands out trying to sell people cheap sweatpants and calling them premium
