These past two years see what Eli looks like with a proper offense :banderas: Running that insane Gilbride offense for a decade and still making it work :mjcry:

That's another thing ppl don't take into consideration with Eli...that offense wasn't a dink it down the field offense like Brady, Brees, and a lot of other teams and QB run...Eli was slinging that ish down the field so of course his ints were gonna be higher compared to them

His 1st season last year in that type of offense was his lowest amount of ints in a season, and last night was his first I think he threw this season.

damn, he's really cut down on them in recent years then. not too bad. That was a big issue in 2012-13 wasn't it?

2012 wasn't that bad ints wise but was his lowest completion rate in years, and then 2013 was fukking abysmal and Coughlin finally fukking let Gilbride go. The old offense required the QB, WR, TE, and RB all making the same fukking read at the line. Peyton is essentially the only other QB who has run a system that requires that his entire career, and let's go ahead and give Peyton his due; the dude is a fukking computer. But, he's also had consistency at the skill positions his entire career. Eli has basically a new WR every 2-3 seasons, and when everyone isn't on the same page, you see the big INT years. Gilbride's system was all about on the fly route options, and all about taking shots down field. If you think I'm making that up, look at Eli's numbers. The turnovers are fine for a couple of years, then a massive spike for a season, then back down again.

But these past two years he's had a random ass bunch of dudes and is still ballin

Thank You Based Walsh :blessed:

Also, low key. He's running the same offense as Aaron Rodgers (McAdoo was the QB coach at GB, learned the West Coast from McCarthy and Clements) and is putting up the same numbers :sas2:

Not quite, he's thrown that few before, and had a 10int season after the first Super Bowl. Attempts:Ints though yeah. He threw the ball 100 more times than he did in either of those seasons.

I give Eli his props for stepping up and playing well throughout January on two separate occasions. But the reality is a lot of luck and defensive contributions went into that and when those things weren't there he's played average to shytty with some good mixed in. I get so tired of this "last minute drive :smugfavre:" bs. If he doesn't throw that pick in the endzone at the end of the first half then they probably don't even need that last drive. He's the new Favre. He's good for a last second drive (like pretty much all QBs are, I mean we just saw Brandon fukkin Wheedon have one last week). He's also good for some :mindblown: picks and some rather inconsistent performances as well. Seriously only 3 playoff appearances in 11 years in that division and amongst the league leaders in picks how many times :francis:. Brady throws 2 passes better and Eli is looked upon totally different now.

:scust: you are talking yourself in circles with this nonsense...my goodness. can't we do "if this, then that" with every QB?

Yeah we can. That's why it's silly to single them out the way the people do (when it's convenient of course). Trust me, it's not just about shytting on Eli...for me at least.

Eli's always had some special ability to whoop up on teams that his brother struggles against. His success vs the Pats are well-documented and often discussed, but even at the college-level he performed similar feats.

Peyton was 0-3 as a starter vs the Florida Gators (the Vols also lost when he was a back up). But Eli was 2-0 against them.

He seemingly has some magical ability against teams that Peyton struggles against.
