Players are judged on what they produced on the grandest stage.
Similar to basketball.
Nba players are judged on.
if they allowed a seventh game. Then under duress how did they perform in game seven. If they were not superior enough to win in four to six games.
Example. Kobe in game seven versus the celtics. People take that as the narrative for kobe's individual play. Which is why it is difficult to move kobe's name into the general talking points versus lebron in legacy. While both are inferior in every possible way to jordan.
Jalen is judged on his ultimate performance in the grand stage.

Plus right now is winning in the rego season as defending champions. With people playing up because the eagles are champions. The critiques of jalen that are neg based this season. Come from people who probably grassroots. Never saw a team win a championship. As they do not understand. That a champion's adversity will play up. Jalen had 304 passing yards with one touchdown, 15 rushes for 70 yards and three rushing touchdowns vs. the Chiefs in their first Superbowl.
He had 221 passing yards, two touchdowns, 11 rushes for 72 yards and 1 rushing touchdown in the second Superbowl.
Why can’t Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson do that
Josh Allen and Lamar could obviously put up those performances (and better) against a defense of that caliber. They've done so multiple times before.

They didn’t win. I watched Allen and Lamar play the Chiefs. They clearly have a mental block when they play Kansas City that Jalen doesn’t have. They were scared! Allen and Lamar (Lamar especially) has enough weapons. There’s no excuse. They were scared of Mahomes (especially Allen since the guy beat him 4 times).
Jalen may not have 500 yard passing but he’s going to extend drives with his running and with the tush push and then make the right play to score, whether it’s pass or run, and that’s why he ends up beating the teams y’all swear were impossible to beat.
It really bothers people that Jalen Hurts developed into what he is. I don't understand it. He's got a great story. I don't hear anyone say anything bad about him either. Why all the hate?

No the 3 rings dont mean shyt in this season. We talking about this season and him fukking up week 1 and bytching at Jalen for doing w/e the team needs to secure a win. Hurts is like a Honda Accord. Reliable, durable, consistent. Not flashy but will be there when you need it most. As long as you aren’t saying he’s a tier 1 QB then I don’t get this thread.
