I keep trying to say that these are all decent people in difficult situations and Warren is among the best we have out there.

But this desire to have appeals to cults of personality is really and truly disappointing when it comes to the American public.

It is what it is. Democrats need to put someone up that will still appeal to their base but at the same time capture those swing state voters that Hillary lost to Trump.

Edit* I don't believe Elizabeth Warren is "folksy" enough to recapture those lost swing state voters.
