it's not meant to pass
it is meant to be used as a talking point during the 2020 election, this is what she will run on.
She had to choose something different rather than just saying what bernie was/will be saying.

At least she will run on something, as opposed to what her last endorsement ran on, which was nothing

I really think she's a pretty good in between from where the neolibs are/were and where Bernie's at. She seems like she'd be strong on a debate stage too.

she's really openminded but a better avenue would be to get rid of the market economy entirely

In terms of 2020, the only politician who has proved she knows how to use power in more than minor ways is Elizabeth Warren.

This will directly impact me, as I work for an extremely wealthy and extremely large corporation, but I’m not sure in which way. I’m happy with my salary, which is well above average for workers in my field (I do UX research).

Will this actually increase my salary, or will it be regulation that decreases my salary, Or neither? :jbhmm:

:patrice: same here. I love the ideas here but you know the execs will attempt to cover ads by pay cuts, employment cuts etc

Being a european, your proclivities naturally are pro authority and heirachy.

You also like being a serf.

There is a reason why European dictatorships last so long and are normally bloodless in rule compared,to everyone else.

You guys love being ruled

oh, but when Bernie does it :lolbron:
Noone believes a word Hillary says. BS or not, a lot of people believed Bernie, and seem to be believing Warren. Selling BS is a necessary skill in electoral politics, and it's exactly that skill where Clinton falls short as a politician. Not surprisingly, it's the only skill Trump has.

Decent idea. I like it. :ehh:

It's a great idea. The model of shared wealth/sacrifice worked well during the Country's largest wealth expansion. Post WW2 - 1980s.

Unless you are a wealthy person like @DEAD7 and @Slystallion who are so wealthy that they live off capital investments, :troll: this is a great idea for those of us who live off wages.

Instead of siphoning as much as possible to send to shareholders, companies will be forced to spend money taking care of workers. It's also good for businesses, as more earnings will go to making capital investments in the business.

I also think it will be good for managers as they can plan for the long term without having to suck Wall St dikk every quarter.

This model worked great during the largest shared expansion in wealth in the country's history. Post WW2 - 1980.
