It's not divide and conquer. I'm not quite sure how accurate her line about "Black women more likely to be the breadwinner" is, but the fragmenting of the family is one of the factors never talked about when people cite "wealth gap" and "household income" disparities.

My daddy was the breadwinner. My brothers and uncles and male friends in general are/were all the breadwinners in their family.

I don't know any Black men who are not the breadwinners in their families. Degree or not.
