And ya'll wonder why folks in the Coli still have to argue Jay vs. Nas 10 years later. .But at the beginning it sounds like Elliot was saying Drake shouldnt respond not just becuz he's bigger than Kendrick but becuz he has no chance of winning since people are always gonna side with the more "hip hop" person in the conflict.

I don't think people want to "ignore" it. They just think that Drake's hits shouldn't stop him from battling. It's corny to me when people say, "Oh he's more successful than the other guy, so he shouldn't battle." Kendrick and Drake are both heavyweights now, so a battle shouldn't be that easy to dismiss.
