I keep saying this but I don't think people realize it.

Drake is arguably the largest entertainer with the LEAST non-entertainment media apparatus. Even Beyonce and Hov and Rihanna are still out here doing fashion shows and magazine spreads etc.

Drake doesn't do anything he doesn't want to do and it seems to grind people the wrong way after YEARS of them shytting on him.

The guy literally just does music and thats it.

He sells merch and what not but you don't hear about him on podcasts, TMZ, etc. The guy stays OUT of the way.

No wonder guys like Akademiks feel so shut out.

The funny thing is that you can tell when Drake is doing something because of an inside joke or because his camp is entertained by it. The entire Ak "friendship" felt like that. And once the joke got stale, Drake moved on to whatever the next entertainment was. This is literally a guy who finds humor in the way people beg for his attention. Which is exactly why he would do drink champs. He does interviews with people that don’t know him. He probably won’t drink if he were to do a drink champs anyway since he wouldn’t want to say shyt to compromise him. I don’t think he would ever do an interview with dj akademiks or joe. Atleast drink champs has more pretstige of artists in the culture. And it’s becoming more of a podcast of the culture.
