PWInsider.com is reporting that there are a lot of people backstage in WWE right now pushing for James Ellsworth to be signed to a full-time WWE contract. They also say that you shouldn’t be surprised if Ellsworth pops back up on WWE TV as early as this Tuesday night’s Smackdown.

They are also reporting that the strong sales of Ellsworth’s t-shirt turned a lot of heads inside of WWE. Noting that if you are a fan who purchased Ellsworth’s shirt you may have helped him receive a full-time WWE contract.

They need to send him to the camp...make him a high profile jobber....and when that fades give him an authority spot or another non wrestling posistion

If it's true, good for him:obama:

They will always need someone they can feed to someone on the come-up.:yeshrug:

It's been awhile since we had a jobber that the crowd took to like Gillberg. :ehh:

Lowkey - @thaKEAF's sign and the fuss Reddit made of it might have showed the suits that people were rolling with the no chin gawd. :sas2:

I think it'll work full time if he has an actual angle to run with. While the crowd likes him, he's still seen as a joke so you have to build up just a little credibility that he can win on his own. Something like a veteran, like let's just use Jack Swagger as an example, takes him under his wing and teaches them how to wrestle in taped vignettes. All of sudden Swagger's teachings become successful and Ellsworth wins a match on his own and it's someone Swagger lost to the week before. Thus, jealousy heel turn for Swagger and you have a program. Ellsworth wins the blowoff and now can be seen as a legit midcard jobber instead of a straight out jobber.
