It's a bit more complicated because euro govt isn't as binary as American politics, with multiple parties needed to create a functional govt. And those centrists have a bunch of supporters that sympathize with right wingers, so they have been limited in their aid to Olaf . In an American context, it would be like if the west Virginia Democrat Manchin had to greenlight every single thing Biden passed, leading to very few things being passing in America .
But at the same time German conservatives have formed like Voltron in perfect union beside the cdp , afd, gdu parties.
The troubling thing is that the AFD is a legit white supremacist hate group and terrorist group as cited by their own govt. It would be like if the proud boys formed a political party in America and people actually liked them
