He gonna put his bullshyt GrokAI and Tesla self-driving, self-immolation system in place to help the FAA.

All authoritarianism aside... it's impossible to be smart at everything, why the fukk is he involved with everything???
He is not even smart at anything and if it is one thing it is being a massive government welfare recipient.

Hired a bunch of smart people at owned companies basically.

Elon himself isn’t that smart compared to his peers. I’ve seen some of his work. If anything he’s an average good student (like a 3.0 - 3.5 GPA). Even his Physics professors said he was nothing special. Some most likely didn’t even know they taught him because he didn’t catch anyone’s eyes. There are people who went to that same school 10 years younger and aced the major.

However, he has a really good idea of what smart people are capable of. I’ll say that his companies more often than not hiring insanely smart people who are additionally driven. They’re catching rockets straight out of midair.

Hundreds to thousands of smart people working together? You don’t need to do much, the company will self-sustain and need your input from-time-to-time.

It’s not so much that these companies trust him, they trust the talent he hires.
