These people are so brain dead that they don't even understand what they suggest. The whole reason of having wealth is so that you minimize work. If work is no longer a factor than "wealth" is more abstract. Which means we no longer need to give these people energy.

Money has value based on scarcity. Doesn’t matter how much of the population has the money just that there is a scarce amount being traded. If that money is all hoarded by a select few they can trade it amongst themselves. In fact this is already happening to some extent. The majority of the wealth and value of wealth is due to movement of the economy by the rich and less so by the poor. The fact the AI bubble is what is keeping the economy afloat right now is more evidence of this. The average person provides no value in the AI space outside of the free data they provide for harvest. It’s just a bunch rich corporations trading with each other.

UBI is not happening without civil war or some major conflict between classes. The rich would rather just wipe out the excess humans than have less wealth. You will have to take it from them.

Is it a coincidence that they are taking away social services, healthcare, making it harder to get vaccines for illnesses, dismantling public education, and basically killing any social safety net or welfare while at the same time telling you they plan on making you unemployed in the future by replacing you with AI. It’s almost like they are already trying to cull some of the population. These people view most of the public like peasants and parasites. I'm aware. My thing is he specifically said "wealthy", not "rich". Wealth encapsulates a ton of things beyond just monetary gains. And even still, Wealth grows and is passed on.
My point is, if WEALTH is no longer scares than the extremely wealthy will have no inherent advantages over anyone else. The differences of what one can PHYSICALLY do in their lifetime with a 50 billion dollars vs. 100 billion dollars isn't all that different. At that point, none of it matters. Because work and wealth itself will have no value.

If trade isn't coupled with means of production or labor then it's virtually meaningless.
