Elon seemed dejected, or in deep throught. The awkward pauses, his mannerism, and thousand mile stare at times seemed more telling than usual. Can’t tell if hes spiraling out of control with what he has on his plate or he’s just like that and I never noticed
The podcast was interesting and insightful. I’m glad Rogan explored and asked about various topics. This felt more like Going to a bar with some homies and talking rather than an interview so i didn’t expect SpaceX analytics.
Joe tries to bring in some comedy but at time he kept cutting off Elon which got annoying. Overall it was smooth

Elon is doing a PR tour. He met with MKBHD and now he's on Joe Rogan smoking weed
i actually enjoy the premise of his podcast (3 hour interview/hangout in freeform more or less). it's just Rogan can be annoying sometimes. I still occasionally watch depending on the guests. Just like i sometimes avoid like the plague with certain types of guests.
as far as this episode, i think Musk is just like that. i thought it was a good podcast overall. I think Joe was a little nervous which is understandable since he knew this would be a big podcast numbers wise and would expose a lot of people to him for the first time. you could feel the nervousness. I don't like when he interrupts (he likes to hear himself talk sometimes) but he actually did it less than usual on this one.
also, the part where they discussed judges and police was trash.
