Racist account with 100K followers pretending to be a Japanese nationalist out of Yokohama. Guy even posted a fake pic of a japanese passport like a year ago. Always posting misinformation and disparaging shyt about non-whites and non-japanese.
Location got exposed as "Europe" so they posted a video of a cathedral in Brussels and tried to fake it like he's currently traveling through Europe - except the app also exposed their account was created in Europe and is active from there. one of them cacs obsessed with and pretending to be japanese

A few things:
- It tells you the location of the app store used and/or if web browser
- It also tells you when someone connects and/or has connected through/via VPN (it will include a "shield" symbol - this is observed by taking a look at regular joe Hong Kong accounts - doesn't apply to gov Hong Kong accounts since they can access twitter without VPN)

Things only got so bad because of Elon, in the first place.
Twitter was moderated better and more strictly under previous ownership. Accounts were banned/deleted for spreading misinformation, hate and racism. Verification was an actual process that verified your identity and wasn’t a subscription - and engagement wasn’t monetized in the manner it is now.
Elon bought it, got rid of moderation, monetized engagement, made “verification” meaningless and a subscription - and more importantly; platformed and amplified misinformation and right-wing grifters by following them and constantly reposting their tweets. At none point twitter’s own AI - Grok - said he was constantly spreading misinformation to the point he said he’d speak to his engineers to remodel Grok.
30-40 years from now people will discuss how abhorrent an individual Musk is. And what an enemy and threat he presents/presented for black folk.

There might be an element of truth to that, but overwhelmingly these are your run of the mill scammers doing what they're doing for engagement money. Elon essentially turned bait and rage into currency. There isn't a fanbase as rabid, as active and as gullible as MAGA. Couple that with twitter paying for engagement/impressions with no location, source nor info verification - this essentially turned into the gold rush for scammers from developing worlds.
This is "Nigerian Prince" email scams on steroids rather than orchestrated governmental attacks.

I would say 80% of all slop and content aggregate accounts on Instagram Facebook and YouTube are run by Indians. Id say that number is closer to 90% for anything video game related.
