Unfortunately, and yes I'm serious, XBox is too and I don't want that to happen. Sony needs competition. But then again, it can open the door for a Google or Apple Console.

Xbox and Bing provide competition for Sony and Google respectively. I think Sony in particular will get complacent without the Xbox so on that logic alone I don't want Elop ascending to CEO.
