Just saw this a couple weeks ago and was impressed though I didn't know it was as acclaimed as it seems to be.

I watched a couple of the movies he did. I can see why he hated them. Viva Las Vegas was funny, but only because it was so ridiculous.

Why don't millennial and gen z white people not fukk with Elvis like that compared to the Beatles, Queen, etc.

Music from before the mid 60s hasn't aged as well in the eyes of the the general public. And the lame end to Elvis's career (being a fat pill addict who did a neverending Vegas residency) likely hurt his reputation long term.

I personally like the "From Elvis in Memphis" album

Yeah I like that album as well. I like Elvis Is Back and the King Creole and Blue Hawaii movie soundtracks as well.
