Yeah....you don't understand what happened.

It wasnt about the 7 minutes, it was the cap hit.

I understand the cap hit they would take if that contract was still on the books at that deadline. My problem is how they took advantage of that to make him an even LOWER offer than the paycut he had already agreed to after they cut him.

COrrect me if i'm wrong but this is what I thought hapenned:

From what i understand he it was like he was set to make (these numbers are examples)

  • He was set to make $8M
  • They asked him to take $5M to save $3M off the cap.
  • He agreed to the paycut
  • He failed to turn the paperwork on time
  • They had to cut him to avoid the cap hit because it would have incurred AT THE DEADLINE. That is perfectly fine with me thus far.
  • They then took back the $5M offer and offered him even less because now THEY had the leverage.

I'd say that's shady.

Did i misunderstand this?

NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
Dumervil is decent, and you guys definitely needed him, but he is older than Kruger and Ellerbe and has been in decline for the last year or so and does nothing for your poor running game. And Canty? Bum knee's and falling apart- Giants didnt even show him an offer. So your line went from poor to average.

But lets not act like ya'll aint going to miss this nikka:

Na u way wrong

Dum was going to make 12 mill, that way to much, highest de got paid 7.5 In the market this year
They offer him 8.5 and him and agent turn it down until the last until the last 20 minutes
They got to a store to fax it like dumbasses, and it fails
Broncos cut him 7 minutes before the deadline
When they cut him they got a 4.85 mill dead weight on the cap, 4.85 penalty
So basically if they would have kept that 8 mill on the table they would have had 12.85 on the cap cause of dum mistake, so if he wanted to come back he needed to take a paycut

Carson Bumler, Terrell Pryher, Wince Young, or whatever piece of shyt qb the raiders have starting this season thanks you, Baltimore.

Although Siragusa cost us a chance at the Superbowl the year he planted Rich Gannon, I forgive BMore since last season, they singlehandedly ruined every team that Raider fans hate most, post-season chances. See - New England, Denver and San Francisco
