I respectfully disagree with the features and uptempo beats. This album is a winter CD that creates the mood for the listener. Plus in a era that's features heavy I'm happy it was kept short. So I've listened to this album a dozen times or so...
Lyrically elzhi delivers as usual. His wordplay is so slick he has alot of quotables on this.
The gripe I have is with the overall mood of the album and the lack of features. Alot of the beats are low tempo and would have been nice for Khrysis to add a couple uptempo joints to it, which would also make the album longer.
Also the only other person to rap on this album is Khrysis, I think a couple features would've helped the album flow better. He did the same thing on Lead Poison. When is Elzhi and Royce going to bless us with another track? Elzhi and Phonte? Add those in then I'd call this a classic.

I figure both phonte and royce are tired of getting dusted on a track by Elzhi as far as a feature. I remember a while back on twitter i tagged black milk, royce and elzhi asking about a collab albumSo I've listened to this album a dozen times or so...

Honestly I think Tay and El are neck and neck. I give Elzhi the nod on Hiding Place and Not Here Anymore, but I think Tay took it on No Competition and Destiny N Stereo.Yeah they get dusted, but it's very competitive. On all the tracks they've done there isn't 1 bad verse. And you could argue that Royce got Elzhi on Motown 25 and Phonte got him on No Competition. They should release more for the culture. shyt I gotta go listen to that new black milk.

Who the fukk is this guest?!
