Best release this week, if there is something better let me know
Just put this, AZ and Conway/Conductor to the test on a 7 mile run. This was by far the best of the three. Other two were solid but I felt like Elzhi and Oh No dropped a 4.5 project

Kinda reminds me of Black Milk’s Everybody Good? as far as Oh No lacing Elzhi with a distinct soundscape. While there is a jazzy vibe, there’s also some hooks buried in the mix, changes in pitch (vibrato), echoing doubles and vocal distortion cutting through it. Like how β€œlifetime mission” is chopped up into β€œI listen” and how the production itself eventually leans into noise, compare the sound of wind at the start of Bishop vs. the overwhelming full volume of it by the end. Conceptually, the album as a whole does the opposite. Starting with a bunch of a commotion before In Your Feelings and closing with Last Nerve (how we feel sensations, including sound), silencing the noise. This only works so well, cause the sequencing is seamless, bleeding from one song to the next with no real break or sense of quiet until the final few seconds. Knew this would be at the very least dope, but it completely blew my expectations away.

DETROIT (Do Every Thing Right Or It's Trouble)
Aye my bro I don't think you're wrong with this.
Off 3rd listen I stand on that comment. This debatably his best retail project. The preface is still a personal favorite and was just a mixtape.

In fact, almost all of Elzhi’s mixtapes before Elmatic seemed to be just a bunch of songs thrown together, which further adds value to his skill set. His throwaway songs on a mix cd are better than a lot of dudes albums.

That’s wild :ohhh:
