i refuse to conform

I said it on that other board and I'm definitely going to say it here
Relapse >>>>> Recovery
The accents weren't a problem at all when you think about it.
Feel the same way about American Gangster and Blueprint 3.

Both artists essentially did what they did best on the former then just
kinda punched it in on the latter even though I think all of them are good albums
it's just the former is obviously a better product.

the accents were never a problem for me because i understand why he did what he did it was just to rhyme more words he been doing it his whole carreer.

I may be biased since Em is my favorite rapper but I think this is definitely one of his best songs and shyt i don't think he fell off at all. The accents were whatever but his flow, schemes, delivery and lyrics are always on point. You could argue his content but Relapse was underrated as fukk to me. But then again I'm a Stan.

Dapped damn near everybody in here..

I said it once and I'll say it again...Relapse was the fukking shyt!!

When We Made You dropped nikkas really gave the album :snoop::rudy: and were loading that clip just to hate on Em and say that he fall off.

But then when the album leaked nikkas were like :ohhh::whoo::gladbron:

I mean shyt...y'all gave it 4 mic...numbers don't lie nikkas Eminem - Relapse Thread (Talk about it HERE) - ProjectCOVO.com Global Forum :smugfavre:

Em was gone for 4 years and he came back with VENGEANCE on Relapse. He did EXACTLY what y'all wanted him to do, and that was to go back to that Slim Shady personal. From a lyrical stand point, Relapse was one of Em's best albums.

I don't get where are the hate came from all of a sudden. That infamous "accent" was just an excuse for nikkas to hate. To be honest, I don't get HOW u can hear a song like Stay Wide Awake and just say that it was wack I just CAN'T!

The way he was just flowing and the way he was just rhyming EVERY. SINGLE. WORD. and ON BEAT was just :ohhh:.

Also in my opinion, the production by Dre was Dre's BEST production since Doggystyle. The beat for My Mom, Insane, Bagpipes From Baghdad :damn:
I wish they would have released an instrumental album of Relapse :ahh:

And I do wish Em would have just said 'fukk everybody" and released Relapse 2. I mean he could have just released it as a free mixtape on his website or something. I mean he should have just released that just for the fans that wanted to hear it..oh well

Recovery was cool IMO...but u can tell he just did that album for the mainstream folks :smh:

all in all Relapse was the shyt!! and fukk ANYBODY that says different..

Dope song, I really enjoyed the whole serial killer vibe of the album.

I don't know man for me I had no issue with his accent, it was something different.

I actually thought Relapse was better than Recovery which I know isn't a popular opinion among most Slim fans.
Relapse straight shyts all over recovery. I remember trying to bump recovery in my whip with those p*ssy ass hooks and poppy fake beats :snoop:

Relapse production >>> Recovery as well

stay wide awake is still dope, but i still ride for same song and dance, he was too in the pocket on that shyt, laid back, nice beat with enough space for him to really create a song, still had the lil twang but he sounded like he wasn't even putting effort into rhyming shyt like valum and alley oop, that whole track is disgusting for a lot of different reasons

I disagree. Lemme get my Sunzoo on. Em is up there. Very few in the game have a chokehold on the whole process of rapping like this nicca. Granted, Em's whole style, beat choices, song concepts and off the wall zany shyt throws off alot of niccas, because its completely outside the norm, but when it all comes down to it, he's one of the greats, no doubt. If nigs would be a little more open minded towards Em, I'd wager that they'd discover that they like his music a bit more.

Mark my words, I believe that niccas will be more appreciative of Em from here on out. It seems Proof's death just unlocked beast mode with this nicca and re-sparked his interest in rapping.

not like any of you nikkas would be surprised but relapse is still in rotation, and i said the same shyt, this was em giving his core fans some of what they wanted, recovery was him trying to be top 40 again, not only because he's a whore, but for the "props" of the crowd that had kinda latched on to wanye/ye and even jay a bit by way of sucking off young nikkas to keep his fanbase lol

recovery has some dope shyt on it, but it's disgusting, because it's one of the few times someone who has been known to do shyt just to piss critics off, decided to pander to them instead, but it did what it was posed to do, got him some radio spins, sold more than relapse did, ect.

i'm excited to see what he's cooking up now though, especially since he got SH in his circle, i doubt we gonna get another recovery, if he's gonna go the radio route, he might as well dial it back to more laid back shyt ala superman...seduction woulda been perfect had he chilled out with gilbert godfried impression

Eminem's flow is top notch. Only other mainstream rapper I can think of with comparable skills is Ludacris. However, EM eats Luda on the lyric tip.
