No known cause. But I had a cut in the back of my mouth during the winter and got a sore throat. During that time started feeling tightness in the nodes on the back of my head. A days pass and I notice speed difference with The movement of my left side of my face. I thought was tripping but my eyes started blink at very different speeds. By day 3 the left side had zero movement. The doctor gave me a prescription and said it should go back to normal with time. Some people face never fully recover and some people get it throughout their life. So, I do get scared about it sometimes but I think I may be good.

I know a few people who have had Bell’s palsy. Some had it worse than others but if you ever feel your face get droopy or lose sensation it’s best to get to the ER ASAP to rule out stroke.
